Yorkshire Play's second DVD is now in production and should be available later in the year.
We are proud to announce the launch of Yorkshire Play's first DVD!
Playing with Fire
Play providers often use elements as themes for play activities - earth, wind and water can often be associated with sand, kites and water play.
Yorkshire Play is proud to present this DVD which looks at the challenges when using fire. It is a simple, visual guide that will help to alleviate the fear of providing fireplay activities.
It covers a variety of settings that work with a wide age range and gives practical examples of ways to play using fire - taking you through, step by step, what you can do to facilitate the session .......... Simple firepit and outdoor cooking showing how fireplay can be done safely in a nursery setting.
Exciting fire sculptures made from chicken wire and various materials.
Group preparation and building of a bonfire by the children on a purpose built firepit.
BBQ and Dream Boats - making of paper boats before setting fire to them and floating down stream.
We are giving away a copy of the DVD FREE to all members - further copies are available at a cost of £3 to cover postage and packaging.
